Portable chargers

Basically, there are no places where you can charge your cell phone on Mt. Fuji. Because it is difficult for your cell phone to get a signal in some areas, it is best to turn off the power when not in use so as to prevent battery consumption. You should bring a spare battery just in case. Cold weather can cause voltage drop and reduced function, so the use of a portable body warmer (hokkairo) would also help.

GPS

To check if you are walking the right route, you can use the GPS on your cell phone or a special power-efficient device.
If you check Google Maps frequently at Wi-Fi spots, it also helps to prevent taking a wrong path.
However, you should pay attention to the battery level in case of an emergency.
