We recommend staying at a mountain hut
and watching the sunrise before heading to the summit.

Model Plans
The model plan is a simulation of staying at a mountain hut at an altitude of around 3000m and walking the standard course time. When actually climbing, please make an appropriate hiking plan that takes into account the location of the mountain hut you have booked and your own walking pace.
Model plan assumptions
- Goraiko traffic congestion is calculated based on past results.
- 10 minute break every hour
- Lunch, etc. Meal time is 30 minutes
- Altitude acclimatization at the 5th station 1 hour or 30 minutes at the 5th station, and the remaining 30 minutes at the 6th station while eating.
- Procedures at the trailhead Yamanashi side: assumed to be 30 minutes - Planned based on the time of sunrise around August 10th

Stop "Bullet Climbing"!
Climbing Mt. Fuji without staying in a hut is extremely dangerous unless you have sufficient climbing experience, physical strength and skill.
Especially, bullet climbing (*1) and day climbing with light gear (*2) are extremely dangerous.
Your climbing plan should include plenty of time and physical strength. Prepare your gear and physical condition before climbing Mt. Fuji.
(*1) Bullet Climbing: A style of climbing departing from the 5th Station at night with the aim of reaching the summit by sunrise without staying in a hut.
(*2) Light Gear Climbing: A style of climbing without the necessary equipment.
